As woman, we wonder, why do we care about recieving flowers so much? Why do we wish we were those little girls again playing dress ups? Within Bloom, these topics are explored through playful colours, designs and prints.
Emerging into the spring summer collections of 2025, prominent trens are begining to form. Florals are a common trend on the runways, described as ‘mix-matches garden party of patterns’, which is just one of the reasons as to why florals are a large element in the print design created in the cut-two mini dress.
When looking back to the 1960s, it was an iconic era of fashion in terms of the introduction of the mini dress. This era is truly replicated within my designs, particularly in terms of the silhoutte of the iconic shift dress which creates a simplistic yet timeless shape. The mini dress of the 1960s was seen as youthful and fun, tying back into being that little girl playing dress ups once again.
